ROCK CLIMBING

Experiential Outdoor Rock Climbing

$100 per person (1:4 ratio)

Never rock climbed before, No problem!!  

We will gear the experience with the beginner in mind, but have lots to challenge those up and coming rock stars!

All technical equipment is provided for this experience (Helmets, harness, shoes, etc)

*No belaying experience required, participants will be belayed by guide.

10:30 am: Hike into the climbing location

10:45-11 am: Gear fitting (harness, helmet, shoes) & Outdoor safety

11 am - 4 pm: Loads of time to climb

 

 

Introductory Rock Climbing Course 

$125 per person (1:4 ratio)

Perhaps you have climbed at an indoor wall before or tried out a portable wall at the fair, well then this course is for you!

We explain the basics and let you explore natural rock faces and help you learn more about the exciting world of outdoor rock climbing.

All technical equipment is provided for this experience (Helmets, harness, shoes, etc)

*Belaying is mandatory, but can be refreshed or learned as part of this day course.

Introductory Rock Itinerary

Duration: 9am-4pm

Location: TBA - Various Climbing Crags suited for learning

9:00 - Meet and greet, waivers, gear fitting (harness, helmet, shoes)

9:30 - Hike into the climbing location

9:45 - Site briefing/overview of the day

10:00-12:00 - Skills

12:00-12:30 - Lunch  

12:30-4:00 - Skills

4:00 - Wrap up and review

- Hazard awareness
- Gear selection
- Basic climbing technique (bouldering/spotting)
- Learn about the top roping setup
- Tying knots
- Learn to belay
- Climbing commands

 

Gym to Crag

$200 per person (1:2 ratio)

So you figure you’ll be clipping bolts like their going out of style, this course is going to be up your alley. You will learn the necessary skills to safely transition from the gym to the crag so you can confidently crush your projects!

Personal harness, shoes and helmet required. All technical equipment is provided for this experience (Ropes, quickdraws, etc)

*As a benchmark participants should be able to confidently climb a 5.10 graded top rope. Please inform us of your ability level so we can customize a program that will comfortably suit you.

Gym to Crag

Duration: 9am-5pm

Location: TBA - Various Sport Climbing Crags suited for learning

9:00 - Meet and greet, waivers, gear fitting (harness, helmet, shoes)

9:30 - Hike into the climbing location

9:45 - Site briefing/overview of the day

10:00-12:00 - Skills

12:00-12:30 - Lunch  

12:30-4:45 - Skills

4:45-5:00 - Wrap up and review
